The Timor Leste Law Review (TLREV) is an open-access law journal first published in 2026 by the Master of Laws Program, Universidade Dili, Timor Leste, and compiled by the academic community—both lecturers and students in the country.
Scope of Study
This journal contains ideas and research findings that examine a variety of topics, including:
• Recent developments in legal studies, social issues, and relevant contemporary issues;
• Institutional and governance changes, both in Timor Leste and elsewhere;
• Legal dynamics in the ASEAN region and the broader Global South. This journal was developed in response to Timor Leste's membership in ASEAN, as well as an awareness of global challenges and the increasingly close legal interactions among developing countries.
